ACTION 1: Support CA District 10

If you would like to support CA-10, please volunteer for a phone bank or canvass! They really need your help to get a democrat past the primary on June 5, 2018, and phone banking and canvasses are some of the best ways to turn out voters. If you'd like to keep writing postcards, you can also join one of our CA-21 campaigns.

Action 2: Thanks to Kamala Harris and Kristen Gillibrand

Today we're thanking US Senators Kamala Harris and Kristen Gillibrand! Senator Harris has vowed that she will no longer accept donations from corporate PACs, nor will Senator Gillibrand (in addition to Senators Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Maria Cantwell and Bernie Sanders). Read more here: http://thehill.com/…/384408-kamala-harris-will-no-longer-ac…

And Senator Gillibrand has proposed new legislation that would require every US Post Office to offer basic banking services, making it easier for working-class and low-income Americans without access to commercial banking to obtain low-cost, short-term loans.

Let's send thank you and encouraging postcards to both of these hard working Senators fighting to keep our elections fair and improve our lives!

Senator Kamala Harris
501 I St Suite 7-600
Sacramento, CA 95814

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand

ACTION 3: Keep the pressure on to protect a free and open internet

*This action is from Wall of Us

Here’s how:

1. California’s SB822 is advancing its way through the California Senate but predictably, high-priced cable lobbyists are doing all they can to throttle the momentum. Those of us represented by Senators Henry Stern and Robert Hertzberg need to tell them to get out of the way.

2. Use this tool from our friends at Indivisible to apply pressure to your state AG, elected officials, governors, or municipalities to restore net neutrality. Make sure the officials who work for you are on the right side of history.
