Phone Bank for Jon Ossoff: General Election Edition (San Francisco)

  • 11 Grove Street San Francisco, CA, 94102 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

In April and May, we made over 5000 calls for Jon Ossoff in the Special Election Primary for Gerogia's 6th District. Together, we helped Jon Ossoff clear the hurdle with 48% of the vote and launching him into a run-off! Now we have a chance to take Newt Gingrich's former congressional seat and show 45 that California Democrats aren't slowing down for nothing.

If you've volunteered before, you know the drill by now: bring your phone and your laptop, we'll take care of the rest including scripts, Georgian voters to call, food and drinks. If you've never come before, now's your chance to move beyond online petitions, social media posts and marches on friendly soil to true blue concrete #resistance. Our trainers will make sure you're comfortable and having fun fighting for Democrats across the country. And make no mistake about it, winning at the ballot box is the most effective way to resist.

How many votes are *you* going to generate for Jon Ossoff?

Come join us and let's start taking back the House.

Special Election (Montana)

The At-Large Congressional District of Montana will hold a special election for the U.S. House of Representatives on May 25, 2017. http://robquist.org

Heading into the election, Ballotpedia rates this race as safely Republican. The election will replace Ryan Zinke (R) who was confirmed as secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior on March 1, 2017.[5] Primary elections were not held in the race. Instead, party leaders chose the nominees at conventions. Democrats selected musician Rob Quist at the party's convention on March 5, 2017, while Republicans nominated businessman Greg Gianforte at the convention on March 6, 2017. The two candidates will face off with the Libertarian nominee, Mark Wicks, in the general election on May 25, 2017.

Special Election: Georgia U.S. House District 6

Georgia U.S. House District 6

The 6th District is historically Republican, and Price won this seat by 23 points last year. However, Hillary lost there by only 1.5 points (compared to Romney's 23-point win over Obama in 2012), suggesting an opportunity for Democrats. Jon Ossoff is the most viable Democratic candidate, with endorsements from John Lewis and Hank Johnson.
