Come join us at the Democratic Volunteer Center in Palo Alto, to write postcards encouraging voters to choose Democratic CA Congressional candidates (see below for dates and times). Postcard Party to Reach Spanish Speaking Voters (All Welcome)

Attention Bay Area friends: YOU can help Flip the 14 defeat Congressmen David Valadao and Devin Nunes on Sunday, August 12, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Sports Basement in Berkeley. We are reaching mid-term skipping and newly registered Democrats in #CA21 and #CA22 who speak Spanish at home by sending them postcards promoting our great candidates there, TJ Cox for Congress and Andrew Janz. While we welcome all Spanish speakers to this event, you do not need to speak Spanish to participate, as we'll have sample language ready to use. This is impactful and meaningful work, reaching voters who don't usually get much information about their Congressional election and what's at stake. All are welcome at this all ages postcard party. Light refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own postcards and stamps if you can, but we will have postcards available.

Postcard Party for Virginia's Governor's Race (San Francisco)

Hosted by Together We Will Albany Berkeley

One of the best ways to stop unfair gerrymandering in 2020 is to elect Democratic governors to key states, starting with the Virginia governor's race in November 2017. Our challenge this evening will be to write 200 postcards to Virginia voters asking them to vote for Ralph Northam for governor and for the local House of Delegates candidate. Join us to write get-out-the-vote postcards to Virginia Democrats. Bring your favorite pens! Contributions for postcards and stamps would be much appreciated.

Postcard Party for SC-05 and State House District 48 (San Francisco)

Get your weekly political activism out of the way early and join us at Virgil's Sea Room for a Monday happy hour and postcard writing to democratic voters in SC-05 and State House District 48 to GOTV to help turn these seats blue in the special election on June 20th!

In SC-05, Archie Parnell just won the Democratic primary. The seat was vacated when Mick Mulvaney (R) was confirmed as director of the US Office of Management and Budget. House District 48 is entirely contained in SC-05 so voters will be voting on the same ticket! Bebs Chorak is the Democrat in that special election, which was called as the Republican incumbent resigned in order to run in the SC-05 special election.

Bring your phone, so we can text you addresses. Bring some money for postage, and pick up a postcard or two on your way if you can. We will provide postcards as well!

Hosted by Sister District Project - CA-12
