Sister District SF Book Club Discussion

  • San Francisco Public Library - Noe Valley Branch 451 Jersey Street San Francisco, CA, 94114 United States (map)

Hosted by Sister District San Francisco

Join us for Sister District SF's first book club discussion! We'll be reading @Ratf**ked" by David Daley, which details the successful Republican initiative called REDMAP to win state legislative seats and then gerrymander voting districts.

Gerrymandering led to a GOP-dominated U.S. House of Representatives despite the fact that in many states, there are more registered and voting Democrats than Republicans. Now, Democrats have woken up to the injustice of gerrymandering and both parties are preparing for the next redistricting cycle of 2020.

NOTE: The Library closes at 6pm so we'll be using it after hours with their permission. Please arrive by 6:30 p.m.
