More about this EVENT.
The Rapid Response protest against Trump’s meddling with the Mueller investigation is TODAY at 5pm at Civic Center. This protest comes in response to yesterday’s ouster of Jeff Sessions. Rosenstein has been sidelined on the Mueller investigation, with acting Attorney General Whitaker now in control of the investigation. We demand that Whitaker recuse himself due to his previous statements on the investigation. Sign up now at MoveOn.org to stay updated. RSVP for the event here.
While you’re getting ready to hit the streets, take a moment to celebrate our election results! We had a lot of hopes and a lot of worries going into Tuesday. Many of us continued to campaign until the end of voting to help flip Congress and build support for Props C and 10.
We’ve been working for months to build a Blue Wave. Tuesday, the wave arrived and here's what washed up:
A House majority.
Many, many state-level wins across the country, including governor and legislative seats (flipping control to Democrats in six states), and ballot propositions.
San Francisco’s Prop C passed.
We didn’t win the Senate, but we didn’t expect to.
Check out a more detailed list of some of the many progressive victories we scored on Tuesday.
Revel in our successes, and let them fuel you. The fight isn’t over, but it will change now that we have a Democratic House Majority at our back and the Speaker’s gavel at our side. In the next few days, Indivisible National will publish a new guide to cover how we’ll go from taking the House to taking the White House. For a sneak peek of the plan, join Indivisible National's movement-wide strategy call next Tuesday at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
We have a lot of work ahead of us. Take a moment of rest, find inspiration in Tuesday’s victories, and let’s get back to it. See you Sunday!
