At Indivisible SF, we take direct, nonviolent action in pursuit of a more democratic government. We therefore encourage support for March for Mission Street, in the neighborhood where we’ve been meeting all year. Mission District activists are working to ensure that the voices of working class, long-time residents get attention in any planning process that affects the neighborhood. Unfortunately, community members and leaders have often been ignored during city planning processes that serve the interests of outsiders. Community members, and not just gentrifying interests, deserve a place at the table. We encourage anyone who is available on Thursday to join us and show our support.
