Bay Area Wear Orange Walk (San Francisco)

Wear Orange was inspired by friends of Hadiya Pendleton, a 15 year old Chicago high school student killed by gunfire, who decided to honor her life by wearing orange-the color hunters wear in the woods to protect themselves and others. Please join us on June 3rd to honor National Gun Violence Awareness Day as we march across the iconic, orange Golden Gate Bridge to show we are united in the belief that we must do more to stop gun violence.

SF MEETS at SF BRIDGE PLAZA AT 9:30 am and DEPARTS at 10:00 am to march to Marin. MARIN SIDE MEETS at MARIN VISTA POINT at 10:30 am. and will march with the SF marchers together at 11:00 am. 11:00 am restroom break and guest speakers at the Marin Vista Point. Event will end at Noon at the SF Bridge Plaza. WEAR ORANGE!!
