White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of our Racial Divide

Carol Anderson, renowned Professor of African American Studies at Emory University and author of the New York Times Bestseller, “White Rage,” argues the violence such as that seen in Ferguson, Baltimore and Charlottesville, reveals a deeper, ugly truth - this fever of white resentment gripping the nation has always existed to derail African American progress.  Each milestone in the civil rights movement, Professor Anderson argues, has generated its own backlash.  Is this the thread that connects Charlottesville to Ferguson and back further to Selma? And, most importantly, what can be done?  Hosted by World Affairs: $20 for non-members.
